A Couple More to Finish Off

Here's the last few layouts. This one is getting ready for Christmas. This one is pretty plain. I think it shows I was just trying to finish up. The Sketch is from The Best of Becky Higgins p 53. Close to My Heart CS base. Creative Memories Sunwash for borders. CM Photo mats and Letters as well.

I didn't use a sketch for this one. I used Close to My Heart CS for the base. I used an old Creative Memories Christmas border I made a few years ago to accent the page. I used CM Shaded of purple as accent pieces. I used CM Silver ABC's. The layout highlights Christas at church, home, my in-laws, and my family.
Final page. Yeah. I had an empty back page and was trying to figure out how to use it. I used another old Creative Memories border from several Christmas ago to accent the page with is Close to My Heart Card Stock. For the pictures I used the Digital Thank You Notes we created using several different Brag Book templates. I figured it was a great way to finish up.

Hurrah Hannah's Album 07 is Done

Last weekend I decided to concentrate on paper scrapping and I finished up Hannah's 07 album. Here are some of the last few layouts I did.

This one has a field trip on one side and my daughter's quote on the other side. I'll put the 2nd side up on its own as well because its one of my favorites that I did last weekend. I had the quote written in my notebook while we were out one day and then I couldn't find the picture to go with what I had jotted in my notebook. I was going crazy. Finally my son remembered he had the picture on his camera so I upload all 300 pictures from his camera to my harddrive only to discover that it was not on the memory card. So while he searched his computer I started on the other page. Since it was a Sheriff's Annex field trip I went with the greens. As it turned out when we finally found the right picture it had greens too so it was great for the other side I already finished it was perfect. Except that the picture went the wrong way so I flipped the layout and used a long thin journal box. You'll also notice that I used letters on the circles to look something like type writer keys.
The layout sketch is Cherish p 116. Close to my heart CS base. Creative Memories shades of Green and Olive Paper with CM ABC's. The journal is the CM paper as well.
If you can't read the title it says "Look It's An Old Fashion Keyboard" The journaling talks about how she can't understand why everyone laughed. It ends with some people call this a typewriter.

Two More Layouts

As you can see I'm not so good about making things line up perfectly. Second I haven't figured out how to scan and stitch in PSE so I just took a picture of my layouts with my camera and uploaded the images.

1st - 2 page spread is our Field Trip to Silver Springs. The sketch is Cherish p 90. I used Paperbilities and Colorbok papers. I used Creative Memories sticker and ABC's. I actually dragged out my Creative Memories custom cutting system and made some circles and ovals as suggested in the Cherish layout. Lately I've been sticking to squares and rectangles for speed and ease.
2nd - 2-page spread is two separate events. In paper I'm still stuck in the 2 pages have to match mode because it just seems to make things easier for me for some reason so even different events get worked together. Anyway the first page is a trip to family trip to Ft. Desoto where we met up with the aunts, uncles, and cousins for some fishing and includes a "Happy Meal" box fun. The second page was taken at our local library during Story Time. They learned about the skeleton as if you couldn't tell from the pictures. The sketch is from Imagine p 24. Close to My Heart black card stock base. Creative Memories paper mostly Shades of Orange and Amber. Creative Memories Letters.

Back to Paper

Today I decided that I really needed to work on Hannah's album so I spent the afternoon working with paper. I made three 2-page spreads. Since the first 2 pages were really not at all related I didn't even bother to take the picture as a 2 page spread. So I will share those two pages in this post and then make a second post with the other 2 pages. Page 1 is of the Birthday Fellowship Dinner at our church and the page 2 is our local parade. The two pages are an adaptation from The Best of Becky Higgins p 33. I used Colorbok paper, Creative Memories Photo Mats, and Close to My Heart Ribbon.
