CT C W Pickett - All About Me

I had a chance to work with this great kit this evening. It has lots of great colors and elements. And to make the kit even better it is currently being offered with Bonus Word art that is really cute and lots of fun to work with. At first I thought this kit would be great for doing layouts of my daughter but it turned out to be very versatile. I think the black paper with the swirls is one of my favorites. I didn't use them but it also comes with some cute speech bubble journal mats that look like they would be a lot of fun to use.

I created 4 layouts with this great kit and I can easily seeing using it for lots more.

The first layout is my March Desktop for the My Scrap Shop Desktop Challenge. To make it more of a challenge you had to use current photos made to look vintage. I used 3 techniques Sepia, Old Photo, and Old Paper effects. I also highlight the 3 big events of March in our family.

The second layout is Dad 1936. This was also a challenge over at My Scrap Shop. This and the desk top challenges will run until March 15. You had to use the template with a heritage photo. I loved this old photo of my dad at about the age of 3 and I think these paper colors worked really well with it. I loved the Hello name tag for a journal box.

The third and fourth layouts are part of a 2 page spread from out school testing this year. I thought the alpha that came with All About Me was perfect for the title of the pages and I using the Bonus Word art Totally Me add a cute touch to the layout. The font on the journal mat is Times New Roman.

My favorite thing about this is how you showed it can be used for a boy or girl! I love it! Thank you!
