Backyard Field Trip

We decided one day to enjoy our own area so we went the next town over and spent the day. We visited the Polk Museum of Art were I got a couple pictures of the kids doing a puzzle before I was told no photography. I figured that applied to the exhibits not the hands on area but oh well. I did those 3 pictures on one page which is not shown here. The 2nd page which is shown here highlights the then newly opened Barnett Park and Explorations V the hand on museum. It also shows were we had lunch. Sadly 3 years later some of the neatest features at Barnett Park like the giant insects are all gone. It was such a great park it was sad to see it be torn up so quickly.

The layout was done without a template and features the Scrap Orchard Challenge Week 2 kit by Pixie Queen = Peace, Love, and Happiness. I resized the frames to fit my pictures. I enlarged the tag to work for the journaling. I flipped the tape to make the two labels. The font is Kristen ITC.
